It's an Olympic year and all the good fencers are coming out of the woodwork for qualification. The latest:

AQABA — Korean Deok Chang produced a surprise win in front of a full-packed podium at Al Tharwa Plaza, Aqaba, during the final of the men's foil category in the Fencing World Cup on Friday.
Chang overcame World No. 1 German Peter Joppich 15:13 in the semifinal to clash foils with Joao Gomez, ranked in the top ten.

Joppich said the Korean was a strong player and deserved to win.
