| What additional colour would you like in your national flag? Are you satisfied with the colours on your state flag? Which colour would you add? or keep it status quo? |

| I live in Georgia. A few years ago they made our flag the ugliest one in the Union. Stupid bastards in Atlanta didn't even have a vote on it. They just one morning changed the damn thing. The least they could have done is asked the people instead of just trying to avoid having Jesse Jackson coming in (from out of state mind you) to protest our flag. The real humor is that they are actually changing it soon to something resembling the actual Confederate national flag.

| the Cdn flag is, IMHO, an excelelnt design. Just 2 colours: red & white. Relatively cheap to produce: When reproducing it, it's just one colour.
The British Columbia flag is 4-coloured: red, white, blue and yellow.

| The Canadian flag is excellent.
So is the Nova Scotian flag (A blue cross (x-shape) on a white background, with the provincial crest at the centre in red and yellow. (Im from Nova Scotia)
New Brunswick, where I live, has an excessively complicated flag, and an extra colour would not help.

| Being british I don't have a state flag so let's look at the national one. Nice design, boring colours. I think the union flag (I know if I say the union jack some other british person would post in and tell me it's only called that when it's flown by the queen's rowing boat on state occasions during lent every third year in times of peace or whatever) would benefit from some yellow and green, possibly a little purple and orange too. Although on reflection a complete rainbow, whilst potentially pleasing the gay community, might look a little frivolous.
Red's over-rated as a colour. I say swap the red for some yellow, and add green. Pretty!
Ooh, and some sparkly spangly bits! A sequinned flag! I was greatly disappointed as a youngster to find that when americans sing "the star spangled banner" it's about the normal us flag - I thought it was about one with lovely sparkly sequins on it, all twinkly!
I am such a girly girl...

| The flag was probably ok up to about a few years ago, but it's sort of Martial, that plus the Bald Eagle and we're perceived as sort of war-hungry people. It would be nice to have something a little more mellow. How about something for the American Indians: For example:
Blue for the Sky, Brown for the Earth, and White zig zags for the Mountains, and a few trees in the there with Mangoes growing on them. |

| I think we should change Old Glory to a Red, White and Green model. there's just not enough Red, White and Green flags out there.
Why am I even responding to such a dumb question when I could be working on my presentation for tactics on the strip?
Or for that matter, just working?

| hmm, also, I don't like the Union Jack very much, it's come to represent racism and football hooliganism. GRGRGRGRGRRR!
hmm, status quo would rock up the flag a bit (sorry, stupid mood today)
hmm, something that involved black and purple and silver with glittery bits would indeed be cool
but, like all things, we should look to guitars for inspiration. a touch of heritage cherry sunburst wouldn't go amiss
yum

| Red White and Blue Hard to go wrong with the red, white and blue. No reason to add another color to the mix. The real question is related to statehood and how to add more stars to an already star-ful flag? |

| I'm from Sweden and I'm perfectly content with our flag, I think it's beautiful!
Simple design and not too many colours. Good choice of colours too, a yellow cross on skyblue background.
I also just love the swiss flag, it's really nice!
Do I like the US flag? Nooo, it's a designer catastrophy!
