| is there any way to just delete those or is it just going to "fall" off the page when no one replies any more.

| not any uglier than it started, really.
But I agree with Gav (even if I did post on it) this forum is not the place to push those kind of views.
Thanks from me too, Gav. |

| did I miss something?? The argument looks fairly clean. Granted I only skimmed through the thread as is my habit when I am busy.
I do have to admit, however, that the opening part was a little too rough. However, I don't see a problem with the issue being discussed in a friendly manner. Isn't that what the water cooler is about?

| The thread was a highly descriptive account of an abortion. Absolutely ghastly, and completely unnecessary for this forum.

| What was ghastly? The opening story, and/or the continuing debate? Like I said, I didn't read all the thread.

| The opening story. And as far as the thread goes it wasn't necessary because the tone of Water Cooler though it may often heat up is still fairly light hearted and easy going.

| Yeah the guy who opened it was a little whacked out, but after that I thought it was a good discussion. What was the closing comment? I must have missed it.

| Yeah, as I said earlier, I agree that the opening story was bad. My next question has to do with what Gav said as he closed out the thread. He was talking about not letting this board be used for Christian Fundamentalist crap. Was he referring to the discussion or the opening post?

| I've PM'd you directly Dar't.
Thank's for all the thanks guys. I am closing this thread down before I get a big head!
I can't remember what my closing statement was but I will not tolerate extremism of any kind. Have all the debates about religion or politics but don't be deliberately nasty (like this guy). If anyone wants to discuss anything related to this matter feel free to PM me! |
