    Arthur Miller's, The Crucible

I was wondering if anyone has ever read The Crucible. I have a presentation to do on one of the characters, reverend hale, and i'm having trouble answering the question my teacher wants me to answer. here's the question...What advice does reverend hale give to other characters in Act III and under what circumstances does he give this advice? How is Hale's role different from that of all the other characters?...any opinions are appreciated!

Can't you just read it to find the advice he gave? I read it last year, and all I remeber is that he came in and caused mayhem.

It's not the advice part of the question that's giving me trouble, it's the part about how is his role different from the other characters.

If I recall he was more objective than any of the others. But I could be 100% wrong.

Technically, it's not just the difference in the book itself, but also in your own opinion. Mine for example is I didn't like him. There was never really one specific thing that stuck out, but his all around presence I didn't like.
