One of the 'better' FCs here in town is the one located close to Commercial Drive. There is a whole host of eateries to choose from with country names from almost all 26 letters of the alphabet.

Otherwise, most FCs are stuck in light-industrial areas where the closest eatery, not to mention pub, are a few kms away.

The club I belong to has too many juniors...Going anywhere would invlove the chauferring parents. Too much trouble.

last time we went to a pun, the son of one of us had to sit in the car in almost freezing temperature while we had our pre-Xmas cheers...

Also in my club there are numerous people who can't go out with the club after meeting. In their case they go home with their parents and the older members go out. I presume when they get older some of them will start coming out with us but who knows.

We go for beer practically every Monday and Thursday night.
Post training beer is most refreshing!!!
