Maybe it should have read "female sabreist", or "Asian sabreist". It WOULD be really wierd if Westbrook, a sabre fencer, started a foundation that taught only foilists and epeeists for the first seven years of its existence...

It should read "first female sabrist". The Northwestern Daily writers don't always get their facts completely straight when doing stories (especially about fencing, heh).
