Did anyone happen to tape the exhibition bouts at Duel In The Desert? Perhaps the DiTD sponsor(s) or an enterprising fan made them into a DVD? If not, I'd be happy to convert them..
I had to leave early due to illness, otherwise my video camera and I would have captured the action for all.
I have a fairly complete video of the men's epee exhibition, and bits and pieces of some of the others, and some of the final 8 of mens epee. (But not the final, my camera battery died! ) If I ever get it downloaded to my computer (I need to buy a hard drive), I'll try to make it available.
Me too! If anyone wants to send me their tapes, I'll gladly turn them into DVD's for you. I'm not interested in selling them, but I'll make a stack and give one to the sender of the tapes and the local folks who are interested (Bay Area).
