It was actually underwater, in a big bubble. Pacific ocean.

| Men's epee:
1- Kelsey
2- Cox
3- Allen
3- Baldwin
5- Harmer (not sure of the spelling)
6- Sallembien
7- Lee
8- Gerring
Incomplete, unordered top 16:
Ordody
Segal
McNamara
Carpenter
Manske
As with every year, it was a well run, fun tournament. Only faux-pas I can think of is that in the saturday finals one side of the audience couldn't see the scores and the lights as they were hanging on top of them, and that on friday the whole men's epee tableau of 128 was run on only 7 strips in a small room, which meant that you had to wait a long time between bouts. But that's pretty much the price you had to pay in order to run all the events in time on the number of strips available...

Upon introduction he personally shook the hand of each of the 350 spectators in attendance; adding several hours of entertainment to the evening's program. When are you running for USFA president? |
