The Fencing L'oreal Commercial
Has anyone seen it yet? I'm almost positive it was loreal. She really isn't doing anything. I only saw it once and on vacation very recently (like 3 days ago). Anyone else see it yet? "Float like a butterfly, sting like a bee."

A few weeks back, I saw a fencing scene on my mom's soap opera, As the World Turns- It was so hilarious because they were fencing sabre, but it looked like epee! TV almost always does a poor job when featuring fencing -

That was Andie Macdowell. I think.

Seen it, shuddered in revulsion, will NOT get the t-shirt.

And we have seen this commercial in France since June. Sometimes we can see another one, still with Andie MacDowell, but about archery. Have you ever seen it ?

Ive seen that commercial- also fencing is featured in another commercial telling kids to refrain for certin conduct (Apparantly because it interfers with efforts to compete in the olympics). I saw part of a star trek (the second version I think?) eposide where the captian was fencing someone. They were using sabres but all hits were with the point, and bladwork consisted of alternatly hitting each others blade. Also, the captian grabes his opponents blade with no penalty.
Don’t use big words when diminutive phraseology will suffice -
it isn't a penalty. how do you think Joppich beat Vanni in the World Championships?? It's called the grab-and-go attack, or the super pirse-du-fer. . .
