Why would they not be legal if in the Habana World champs, if the winner wears a clear mask for the whole tournament he/she gets a bonus USD10,000?

This is Leon Paul's version of it.

I'm disappointed that they - Leon Paul - have not put their "contour fit" system in these 'vision' masks, and in the sabre version their didn't put the exchangeable bib system either.

From the one I have handled, not worn, it's heavier than a regular mask. I guess eventually it should be no different from other masks.

If you're looking at the Leon Paul site you should look at the various replacemnt bits they have for the visor part of the mask...

have you seen the fotos of what I did to the X-Change mask?
I've ordered one of those hockey mask back plates for Barry.
Yes, I've asked the questions...
1. Contour-fit system for ALL the Vision masks; and
2. Vision sabre mask with the X-change system.
Does that answer you question?

I've also pointed out that the X-Change mask's side is 2 cm shorter than the Allstar sabre mask - yes, yes, yes, I have a bif Chinese head and a it od it sticks out the back...hence I deem it necessary to protect the back of my head.

It IS an FIE-approved mask.

this is from Leon Paul's site
"The Vision 2000 comes with the contour fit system as standard..."

Methinks that most 1600N masks - with the exception of the sabre mask, of course - are made for both foil and epee in spite of the different requirements in the 2 weapons re the bib.
