| Thanks, Zelda. You must be even worse off though? Because you have League and Aussie Rules to deal with as well. League isn't that big here, there's a team called the Warriors which proves that rather convincingly. |

| Hello Moonitic, I plan to take your advice and visit your club this Friday. I have already spoke to Doug about joining the classes. I am a beginner but if I enjoy Fencing as much as I think I will then I look forward to seeing you in the club one day. Quote:

We focus mostly on foil, but there are some who dabble in other weapons. I've been there 7 years now...before the club was actually a club (before that, it was a group of people tired of taking the advanced class over & over). There's a good mix of social/competitive fencers, too. Always fun!
I think Doug has the URL for the site. |

| I practice SF at the 'Societa' del Giardino' Salle in Milan Italy.
It's an historic Salle for Italy since it was founded in 1794!and it has formed many world champions athletes through the years(all Champions's names are carved in marbles on the walls!),now we have A.Rota and A.Mazzoni as well other very talented fencers training at the Salle.
The 'elitist' sentiment is strongly present in our Salle and that thing is really pissing me off,on the others side the coaching and instruction are super.
Ciao. |

| well yes and no... when you look at the price of some of the other lesson plans you can see that it's not really that bad. but personaly i think that they are takeing advantage of all the bellevue mothers that take there kids there.... but there was a rumor going around that edgar martinez had his kid fencing there.... |

| Good Lord, Doug...that is a LOT of fencers!
Amy & I are so proud of our club (Amy is the vice president). Our motto is "what we lack in quality, we make up for in quantity." Well, that was until recently, when our fencers started spanking the other clubs. :0)
