Homemade extension lights

Has anyone made any? Esp the expert armourers on the board? I saw some at a tournament one time. Seems like a relatively easy thing to do and cost effective, considering the $$$ the brand name stuff costs.

homemade extension lights

Hi,

I've made two complete sets, one for 9 strips and one for 5 strips. I've used regular light bulbs (ac power) in one and LED clusters(dc power)in the other. If you are interested in more info and want to correspond, email me.

The only tough part is matching the output. What you need to do is first find the common and then go through every light combination to see what pin the output goes out. Each type of machine will have different outputs.

Been there, done that. Though not by me. We had a very handy guy...

I'd recommend the LED cluster over the regular lightbulbs. Longevity. 12v requirement for use in 'serious' tourney.
