Clean the mask

Sometimes you want to clean the mask after a long month of using it, I am talking about dried snot in your mask.
Its not possible to wipe ya nose while you are fencing and you cant help sneezing. Dried snot collects on the mesh and down in the chin part.
Soak it and scrub. Its like when you get chocolate in your underpants after a difficult bout and you have been very windy in that bout. Brrrr brrrr you blow (tecniccally its called breaking wind. What Im saying man is you break chocolate

Heh heh...
Earlie hasn't been around for a while, otherwise you'd recognise that post as one of the most comprehendable pieces of prose he's generated in quite a long time - despite its, ah, colorfulness.

earlie,

As the kids are wont to say "Eeewww, gross!"

Ye, my mask's off to you for your candid prose.

In all these years of fencing - I started in 1965 - I've never had the occassion to sneeze inside my own mask, or any mask for that matter. One can always ask for stoppage... "Excuse me!" stop the bout and sneeze... that's part of the chilvary code.

Besides, when your adrenaline is flowing you shouldn't sneeze unless of course you're not well. Ditto for the "chocolate" in one's pants. Are you that scared of your opponent that you 'chocolate' your pants?

So I sympathetically repeat Tireur's question, "Is there something wrong with you?" Perhaps you should see your family doctor before you spread whatever you have to others...

Thanks for the laughs.

PK
