Started when I was 27... turning 29 in a couple of months...

Im 34 and just started after years of saying I would. Never too late I hope. Although recent bouts suggest the opposite.

Started with a few friends when I was 18. One friend is still with me, helping me teach the same class we both started in back in September of 1980. I just turned 39 in April. Still thinking about picking up epee, after starting with foil, and fencing sabre in college.
