Array A poll on patches One question, how many of you have club patches. For those of you who do, what do they look like. I'm not going to copy, just want some ideas of what is standard. ... without remorse for the past, confident in the present, and full of hope for the future, [d'artagnan] went to bed and slept the sleep of the brave.

Array I don't know how to contact him, but contact Donald Benge. I do know that some people on this board belong to the same club he does. He made calendar displaying fencing patches from a variety of clubs and organizations.
I think it was advertised in American Fencing a while back.
Oh, and you can check out fencingsucks.com, they have a gallery that contains a number of patches...
Hope that helps.

Ahhhhh, yes...The Benge...was fencing when God had His learner's permit!
He's a clubmate of mine. I don't have his phone number, but you could probably contact him through our salle, SwordPlay, in Burbank ay 818-566-1777. -

Array Well, my glove is patched, my jacket is patched, my knickers are patched... I'm so cheap I even patch my socks...
Ahem. My club has gone through several patches, with the current one being the best looking, IMO. It is square, in the colors of the club, and is heraldic ( in the sense that it sports a shield, supporters, a motto, etc. along with the club name. But you'd probably be better off with a less "busy" design, unless you've got a good embroidering firm to do it... Use the Shift key, people! Keyboard manufacturers everywhere are ineffably saddened when you ignore what they made just for you! Similar Threads -
