How to tell the difference?

Hi All,

How does one tell the difference between the Uhlmann v2 barrels and the other more malleable versions? Aside from the price, that is... Is it merely the coloration? I ordered some v2's, but I think I received something else.

The more malleable versions are more malleable.
Visually, all I noticed was the color difference.l

The v2a barrels have a dark brown color-- that's the only visual identification they have.
