Hi, i'm Carlos!
i'm i'm a boy, 14 years old an i live in belgium(europe)
I wondered if there are people here who'd like to talk to me, because i love fencing and then also talking about it with someone from another part of the world would be great!
(i'm sorry if there are some grammatical faults in my messages, i'm not used to tipe in english...)
i also have a question, even tough i practise fencing for 6 years now, i don't know what lunge means... (i speak another language, remember.....lol) can anyone try to explane it 2 me...?
i've got family in america! in north-carolina! so bye en take care, i hope there will be a reaction!

Whats your favorite music? do yo play an instrument?
Btw, thanks for the explenation about a lunge, in belguim we call that a 'uitval', or 'aanval'

don't worry, It got kinda unintelligible when I had to put all the dashes in, the forum gets rid of extra spaces, but imagine it without all the lines!! A work of art!!! =)

I don't, unfortunately, though I live in the western/english part of Canada which i sofficially biligual - I am bilingual, just not English and French.
Your English is fine. English is a tough language to know well: too many exeptions to the rules.

I looked up "lunge" for you in my handy 5-language [English, French, Italian, German and Russian] fencing dictionary from the Universiad.
Lunge = developpement, en francaise.

If I'm wrong, perhaps you can PM veeco, he's in France. Je ne parle pas francaise. He does.

Actually, i'm from the dutch part of Belguim, there's also a french part and a german part... I know, such a little land , yet so much languages...

But I do speak French... We learn it @ school, as well as English and german... In our land, english is a very easy language 2 learn, because everyone sees it on TV and the're Dutch subtitles so, it's easy 4 people who speak dutch...

Oui, je parle le Français... Mais qui parle aussi le français? c'est quelqu'un de Canada?

That means=> Jeah , I speak French... But who also speaks french? Is it somebody from Canada?

I have cousins that live in North Corolina. I am a 12 year old women epeeist (planning on taking up foil too). What weapon do you fence with? Good luck in your tournament.

Hi i'm an epeeist. i did foil for a yeaar or so, but our club mostly tranis epeeists sow... i began epee, and I don't think i'll quit with it ever! lol! Thx i'll need the luck, you see, i'm 14 years old and i'm kinda small, i'm 1.60m but i don't know in what unite americans measure things... 1.60m = 160 cm sow... try and figure that out... And do you know other people in North-Carolina?

You are 5 feet an 2.5 inches or 63 inches- I think. Only an inch and a half taller than me. Use your shortness to your advantage, work on hitting feet and legs (it works escpecaily well agiants much taller people). I don't know many other people besides my cousins from North Carolina.

Hi Carlos,

I speak English and Mandarin.

As for music,I'll listen to anything as long as it pleases my ears!And no,I don't play an instrument although I used to play the piano,trumpet and horn(dont know the exact name).

Regarding height,I'm 171cm so I guess you'll be hitting my feet and legs like Joan suggested(if we ever get to fence each other)!

Actually I don't think we would ever go fencing together... you being in Singapore and me being in Belguim... i mean... but i'd like it... Where do you live in Singapore, then i could look it up...
