San Jose Hotel - Hilton

Friends don't let friends stay at the wrong hotel. I have arranged a USFA rate at the San Jose Hilton and Towers for $89. It is across the street from the venue and is much newer and nicer than the Crowne Plaza which is basically a remodeled Holiday Inn with new paint and a new name. Call 408-287-2100 and ask for the USFA rate.

There are a number of great restaurants within walking distance (less than two blocks). My recommendations are the following:

Italian - Il Fornaio, Original Joe's, Bella Mia
California Cuisine - Eulipia
Asian-E&O Trading Co.
American/Burgers - Johnny Rockets
High End - Grill (at the Fairmont), Arcadia (Marriott Hotel)
Coffee- Starbucks in Bank of America bldg.- 1 block away.
Movie - Camera Three Cinemas (art house movies)
Music - Lots of clubs (mostly alternative music) on So. First St.
