    Ever seen one of these?

I was wondering if anyone had ever come across an equipment stand for fencing gear?

Sort of a display / functional sort of thing. Please forgive my cruddy 3-D graphics job, but this is what I had in mind...

Maybe with a hook for a coathanger on the back for your jacket, knickers, etc...

    thanks,

Never. Nice 3-D drawing. You could always have a carpenter make one.

Cruddy my hairy heine. You even put shadows in it!

The mask won't hang that straight, tho, unless you mold the to to resemble a head. With a little more thought, you might be able to make it serve two purposes...storage and a practice dummy.

    BTW, where was the sabre?

Disagree about the mask. The one I put on my fencing dummy hung straight. Well, that is until I would hit the silly thing. Finally had to get an old broken one and screw it on.

Piste, are you making this to display/store things at home/apartment/dorm room?

Your rendering looks a bit like a standard clothes valet.

Maybe add a shelf at the bottom for shoes and relocate the center pole for the addition of a bar to hang multiple jackets. Or instead of a bar for the weapons mount, make it a basket with a grid above (so you can store multiple weapons but still not damage tips).

If you can't be a good example, you'll just have to serve as a terrible warning.

I agree with Amie you should put a shelf for you rshoes on it. I have seen something like this before. Somewhere on the clubs list there is a link to an American club. They are a not for profit organisation (apparently), somewhere in Texas - I think. Anyone from there seen this?

Anyway they had all kinds of cool stuff like your gear stand. So if you can find the link maybe you can email them and they can source it for you.

Yes, Ihave have seen such things but the guy just built it for himself.
