    related to older fencing/ dueling and code duello

    does anyone know where i can find a complete list of the code duello and other historical fencing information? I am doing a project for school about fencing and dueling and i cant find anything on ask jeeves or google thank you for any help I NEED AN A

    I do not believe the Code Duello was every actually codified. What sort of historical fencing resources are you looking for?

    There is a book out there calle "The Duel in European History" sorry, I can't remember the author. book is back in the states right now. It is rather different in that it activly debunks most of the mythology of glamour, honor, etc or dueling.

    Which Code? There were different ones for Britain and the Continent. I think Italy and Spain had their own versions to boot.

    And then, which time period?

    preferably the ones that applied to Britian. what time period? I belive it was in the 17 hundreds. thanks for the help guys
