Fencing in Sports Illustrated

FINALLY!!!!

Sports Illustrated has 2 mentions of fencing in its May 7th edition.

The first is a full page ad by Old Spice honoring Steve Gerberman (a high school fencer out of Texas) as their Athlete of the Month which gives a brief overview of fencing. The second is a short bio. of Mariel Zagunis in their "Faces in the Crowd" section.

I plan on e-mailing Sports Illustrated and letting them know that the I decided to purchase the magazine on the basis of these two articles, and that as a fencer I would purchase the magazine again if they had more fencing features. Their web address is www.cnsi.com, if anyone else would like to contact them as well.
