I rarely create a new bib and never on an FIE mask. I rehabilitate the original
bib. Usually the outside layer of the bib can be retained, unless it is a
really cheap one with tears.

I am not completely clear on what you mean by plastic stripping. If I get all
the pieces, I should be able to put it back together again.

Can't quote until I see it. But I have never charged more than $60 or less than
$40 for a complete rebuild. If I got it this week I could probably get it back
in two weeks. But I don't know what else may arrive sooner and Xmas is not too
far off. Undoubtedly by Jan 15th at latest.

If it doesn't pass a punch test, I don't work on it. You might be careful about
it but it might wind up in someone else's hands.
