| Listing The Names of Sybil... There is a regular poster whose style is usually unmistakable--the regular visitors to the forums know of whom I speak. I have dubbed this person "Sybil" in my own mind, since she has had so many different identities over the years.
So I was sitting here wondering just how many IDs she's used, and then I thought, "We could probably come up with the entire list among all of us."
So, here's my part of the list. Add to it as you see fit:
Mango
its_me_Mango
Jupiter
Dreadfoil
Dreadfoily
Dragonfly
Octavia
135711
Magma
The_Claw
Taiko
cathy a former fencer
Carry on...

135711
and it seems there was one with a "C" in there, somewhere. The jury is still out on Queen of Hearts.

| Magma
At one point, on her own admission, she acknowledged 11 pseudonims known to the personality of hers that was writing at that time.

| I used to think Queen of Hearts was sybil, but I do not anymore. The writing styler of Qof H has quietted down and I think it is a bit more obivous now that Qof H is not Sybil.

| and here I was trying to be good and forget about this...
I've been accused of knowing the dominant personality but I still protest my innocence.
can't think of any more psuedonyms at the moment. Don't want to.
Queen of Hearts = Sybil? Nope. Can't be. IMHO.

| Well lochinvar, you are on to something. All those people have epee as their weapon, and two of them like to run, and most of them are in the USA. It is funny that they would not put down what state, but most of them just put down USA. I'm gonna find this b!tch/b@$t@rd, and kill him, her. Slowly. With a spoon.

| No. I know Arcon; he's not Sybil.
D+F+P, no reason to get hostile--I happen to kinda like her style. It's actually quite refreshing at times, if quirky, rambling, and usually off-topic.
I'm just amused at the constant change of names. But Mango, dear, I would recognize your distinctive style whatever name you use.
I've edited the original post to include the names you've all reminded me of. Carry on...

| Maybe its like mango from saturday night live? I was being sarcastic about killing him/her. It just seems alittle weird to change nicknames more than you change pants.

| I happen to nowt like the writing style at all. The posts are always extrodinarily longwinded and off topic. Or if they are on topic a majority of the time they are filled with mis-information.

| Agreed. It's full of BS and wholly annoying. It's like a rash, just a skin rash - not deadly, but really annoying. I've never seen it contribute anything worthwhile to any post, and most of the time when it even pretends to be on the topic it gives stupid, useless false information. I can't figure out if this beast does it on purpose or if it is infact that spacey.

Carry on... | Okay, it's_me_Mango [to be accurate if you're going to be an accurate historian]. I liked Dreadfoil the best, that was one hell of a personality!! [very Octavian so, I went for it}
ANNOUCEMENT!!! recently I attempted to log into the computer using my password with OCTAVIA and it did not work. Fortunetly, my "reserve" name was sitting there waiting for me when I went into the password modality, and it bounced me right back into the system.
Taiko was another 'fav' of mine, I only used it for a short while, while we were DRUMMING up fencing business. The name The_Claw was a favorite also, I liked pouncing into the frame so to speak in order to make my point!!
[due respect to the real Sybil is that she passed away ]
p.s. the Qof"hearts" claims to be `14 years old, but, for a 14 year old really has lots of claws for me, which is too unusual for a 14 year old, they're usually much nicer.
p.s. LocH: "In my own mind" indeed! very funny!

| who said anything about meeting any of you? None of you are that great. What's with the meeting you thing. I;ve fenced so many fencers, what is the thrill?
Are you serious? Are you like, really for real serious about this, you can't be a serious fencer if you ask this question, we all fence in salles, with a bunch of other fencers, we've met before. I don't get it?

| I'll tell you what was more annoying than the diaper rash of another former "instructor". It used my name in a gay man's magazine. This is the same person I defended for nearly one year, that's the reason I left his salle. I had to explain to him that it was something I was not interested in. I still kept the collection of articles. and if he doesn't knock if off, I'll show them to someone else. |
