Oh, how I hate pop-ups...
Use the Shift key, people! Keyboard manufacturers everywhere are ineffably saddened when you ignore what they made just for you!

It was free hosting for the time being. I hate them to.

Ahaa, nice link colors. Hehee.
Hey, if you were looking for hosting (you said "free for the time being"), I'll just give my little speech, because I think the companies I've found are very worth while.
For a domain name, godaddy.com because it's about $8.95 a year, you won't find better. For hosting, I'd highly recommend nozol.com. They've got a starter package that's about 4$ a month, or something like that, paid annually. They've got excellent customer service. When I signed up with them, I got responses within a couple minutes every time I asked a question, and if I ever popped into the help chat room on their website there was always someone there (I think it was all one guy, too, wow). Now they've got about a 24 hr response time, but still, it's a real response instead of a machine, and he's very helpful. The hosting's just fine, too.
Um... anyhow, I'm gonna shut up now. I just think it's a very valuable service, I'm very happy with my hosting, thought I'd share.

I checked out those sites. The only problem is they will only take credit cards, and I don't have credit cards!

Can you say "nav bar??" That would make it a little easier..

IE: link for prices..
home page
etc etc....

Stuff like that. i spend LOTS of time on the internet each day.. And a NAV. bar is Good...

heh.. so no one likes pop Ups eh?? Use Opera.. its a NICE browser.. no pop up option..
the only bad part about it is the price.

(ed note: i have nothing to do with the company.. i just think that M!cro$oft/Netscrape could use the Competition.)

Just my 2 cents.

Tim --

I get my Point Control domain hosting through Portland Communications: http://www.portland.co.uk

They'll host your domain or a subdomain for free with no ads. They make their money by trying to upsell you to more thorough packages. But if you don't need online ordering or things like that (which it appears you don't), you can't beat the price.

E-mail is handled by forwarding with the free plan. You can have as many e-mail addresses at your domain as you like, but any you establish forward to other e-mail addresses, and anything you don't specifically name get forwarded to a default address you supply.

My domain registration is through Dotster: http://www.dotster.com
They charge about US$15 per year, but it looks like it's going to be hard to beat godaddy at $8.95. In any case, read the fine print. Some domain registrars register your domain in their own name, meaning you can't transfer it elsewhere and don't actually own it yourself. This is especially common in low-price hosts, who say they will register the domain for you for free (or cheap). Neither dotster nor godaddy do this.

Good luck.

Cool site, yes a more sophisticated navigation system would be good if you intend to expand your site. If you are leaving the site as it is, then it will work fine

So that means I could mail my foils to you rather than learn to fix them myself? Hmm.... tempting, of course I like fixing things myself. We'll see.
