    It would be a vastly underused resource as it is on most sites that offer it. It sits empty 95% of the time.*

    what is live chatting, is it one of those things where people write line by line and you can only see one line at a time? i've seen that and i think it looks boring, i like reviewing all the material. [a researcher]

    If you want to talk "live" why don't you post your AIM handle? YOu could use the Buddy Chat feature. Then you only have a chat room when the people you want talk to are online

    why not have both? a live chat room on the server and have a small icon(like where it says profile) that says "add me" i've seen those before infact im putting one on my site, so ppl can msg me about things
