Starting a High School team/club

Eventually I have to do a graduation project for High School which kind of sucks but it gives me the perfect reason to try and start a fencing team/club. I tried to start one my freshman year but to no avail (stupid principal...he said there wasn't enough money when 2 weeks later I read the school just got $40 mil.). But this year is different I suppose, i've got a lot more people to back me up on trying to start one. So anyway...any tips on where to start? I know i'm going to need to do an assload of fundraising. Any ideas on where to get equipment cheap?

We just had a thread on that very subject not long ago...

Do a search on this site for high school, and you'll probably find it.
There were a number of suggestions/comments on equipment suppliers, too.

Good luck!
