The classic cut of Dan Akroyd playing Jimmy Carter... I still crack up every time I play that rerun...

Jack Handey's Deep thoughts were always the highlight of every show...

and the Ambiguously Gay Duo... i've got far too many gay friends not to sit back and try to pick out which stereotypes I've noticed that fit or not...

Dan Akroyd and Jane Curtin as Richard and Pat Nixon.

Akroyd/Nixon (looking at portrait of JFK): "And you-- John Fitzgerald Kennedy. Having sexual relations. In the White House. With women! You haven't seen any of that in the Nixon administration."

Curtin/Pat Nixon: "Oh, Richard's not prejudiced-- he hates all minorities equally."

    The classic Ackroyd/Curtin "Point-Counterpoint" show.

The Phil Hartmann sketch with a dominating, super-quick-witted, multilingual Ronald Reagan in total control of a covert arms dealing scheme, and then rapidly shifting to a friendly & slow-speaking demeanor for a photo-op with the Girl Scout Cookie sales champion.

    The first Bush-Gore debate:
"Excuse me, Jim. I'd like to interrupt and answer this question as though you had asked it to me."
    "Strategery."
"I love deadlines. I love the whooshing noise they make as they go by."

Fencing will always be a "for love of the game" sport.

I need a good arse kicking to get better, faster!
