Array Originally posted by Artisan There's a theory that the precursor to HIV existed in the simian (monkey) population long befor the human outbreak. Its possible that somewhere, sometime someone had sex with a monkey and provided the vector for HIV into the human population. So, you should care. don't go F**king monkeys! Actually sexual transmission is a rather poor vector for HIV, as it generally only works one way...
What's more probable is that someone killed a monkey while having an open wound and there was an exchange in blood. The monkey may have had the HIV, it may not. Depends on what the natural pool is. In any event, the transfer of blood is actually the best way for HIV to get around. Before they put restrictions on who can give blood, it used to be that heroine addicts would give blood for drug money. They would often be carrying HIV from dirty needle injections. Thus, by giving blood, the unfortunate recipitent would also be getting HIV.
And Michael Jackson? He's essentially a man-child, who has had some real issues during his childhood. There is no way he's truly mentally stable. However, that does not exscuse him of anything. I think he's guilty.
The theoretical ideal behind prison is not entirely clear, depending on who you ask. One arguement is that it's punishment and rehab, others say it's removal from the general population to keep the crime from being commited for a while, and still others have a combination. Personally I think he should be just be kept away from the public.

Array He's old hat, a hasbeen, grasping at straws. His talent is almost gone, drained out of him. Vitigilo has ruined him! Elizabeth Tayler, where are you when we need you???? The octopus was a symbol of the Early Roman Empire.

Array Now, I'm old enough to remember when Michael Jackson was identifiably black, and male.
His "oh-I'm-just-a-perpetual-innocent-child" act has grown old. For heaven's sake, the man is 45 years old, which is middle-aged by anyone's standards, and he's still talking in that baby voice and playing the "racism" card when his CD's don't sell as spectacularly well as they did 25-30 years ago.
The factor that makes me incline to believe he's guilty is his behavior towards his own children. He said once in an interview that he snatched his daughter Paris directly after she was born, before she could even be washed off, and whisked her off so he could hold her, love her, etc. This sounds as though he regards children, even his own, as playthings--animated dolls, if you will. And what's up with making his kids wear veils or masks in public, "so they won't be easy to identify and kidnap"? Yeah, I can see how well that would work--537 little kids with Michael Jackson at the zoo, and three of them are wearing party masks--gosh, I wonder which ones are his?
I don't know whether he is innocent or guilty of this particular charge, but he is one sick puppy and needs psychiatric help--which he's unlikely to get as long as his wealth and fame permit him to live in that protective little cocoon he's constructed for himself. Array In my opinion, he is a real pervert, a bit light in the loafers, and doesnt realize that his Shemale face makes him look like a F@g wannabee. "I've seen things you people wouldn't believe. And from this side only! The flight of a half-man, half-bird. Dinosaurs nuzzling their young in pastures where strip malls should be. Cookies on dowels. All those moment, lost in time.
