    fencingsucks.com

Not that I would ever read fencingsucks.com, but does anybody know what happened to it? I looked at it this morning and got a site about "internet haganah," which I think is a group that goes around getting rid of anti-Israeli/pro-terrorism sites. Curiousity got the better of me and I just checked it again, to find that it's down entirely. Did somebody do something terribly naughty or does saying snarky things about epeeists now count as terrorism?

I checked earlier and it wasn't working, but it's up now. (4:50 CST)

BTW, has it always said Friday, January 1, 1904? I've only seen the site a few times and I hadn't noticed that before.

Talen, you got through? I still see Internet Haganah stuff. Some sort of fundraiser.

I scanned my computer for viruses, but came up clean.

It's not so much that I care (although somebody I rather dislike was the subject of posts when it went down, which always feels kinda nice in a sickly way) but that, now that it's gone, I want to stick my snout where it doesn't belong. Terribly nosy. Bad habit.

Try using I.E. It doesn't load with Mozilla or netscape.

Yes, I'm still getting through and I use IE

When I tried yesterday and failed all I got was "page not found"; I never saw the Internet Haganah stuff you got.

And this morning it has the proper date on it - unlike yesterday.

I don't get it. briefly browsed fencingsucks once but I didn't get it. are there equally obnoxious sites parallel to that one like

    raquetballsucks.net
    croquetsucks.net
    curlingsucks.net
and the one I would visit frequently...

    jaialaisucks.net??

It's kinda funny... in a dark, cynical sense. But do read Casey on the Strip. It's really good, if you know Casey at the Bat. It's under Humor.

or Dave Barry's national article from like 98 or something on fencers coming to your town? I read Barry every week, but this one article was amazing.
