| Whew! I thought a couple of people who got like 42nd would pull ahead of me in the cadet points. . . I guess that senior WC's give points down to the 64?

| Senior world cups give USFA points to the fencers only if their strength factor is 2.000. Anything lower than that, and you don't get points. Not sure about juniors, but I would assume it's the same thing. I doubt any of the Louisville events had a strength factor over 2.000, except perhaps women's sabre if there were enough countries who participated.
FIE points are awared to fencers from the 1st place to the 64th place, in Juniors and Seniors.

| What do you mean "strength factor of 2.000?" Also, was wome's saber stronger at this world cup than the other weapons? |

| The strength factor is a coefficient that is used to determine how much points you get from those FIE tournaments. Basically it is used to multiply the number of points to the place you had . So for example if you had gotten 150 points it would be multiplied by the strength factor (in the case it is 2.000, it would give you 300 USFA points)
It is based on a mathematical (sorry Inq) equation that includes the number of countries present at the tournament, the number of fencers, and how many of those fencers are ranked in the top 32 of the FIE points.
You can get more details about this in the USFA Athlete Handbook I believe.
