I have an antique lunette foil that I got off eBay. It has solid brass
hardware, a cord-wrapped handle (originally black-and-white,
but now black and light brown), and a hammered-down tang.
The blade is marked on one side with a crown at the base, then
two crowns connected to a diamond in the middle by a line, with
a "K" in the diamond. Then it says "KLINGENTHAL", then it
repeats the pattern. The other side is the same except it says
"COULAUX & C" instead of KLINGENTHAL." There are photos of
the foil in the Photos section, under "Antique foils." Can anyone
give me a history of this foil or an estimate of how much it's
worth?
Thanks,
