Array Scaramouche. Best FENCING movie. Not theatrical type sword fight, genuine FENCING as fencing in a salle, etc. One-two, double', etc.

Array I think he said fencing move though and not fencing movie. -

Array i like that: "There is nothing new except what is forgotten."
reminds me of a more modern statement: "he's forgotten more than I know." -

Array I've always been a big fan of the "I see you're extended! Let me step forward and skewer myself" technique. "The greatest thing you'll ever learn
Is to parry, and riposte in return."

Array My favorite is the one where I get the touch. Rick

Array Nothing beats a perfectly timed and executed hit direct (hand or body, I am not fussy)!
Simple clear effective!
A close second is a perfect 1-2 or feint-double to the hand.
When I am feeling showy, then a prise-de-fer flick to the wrist or a flick to the back/shoulder... -

Array A balestra with a cut to the head..
or, in retreat, a little cut to the manchet, which my opponent never felt... With infinite complacency men went to and fro over this globe about their little affairs, serene in their assurance of their empire over matter -

Array ooh ooh in sabre, after a few simultaneous actions in a row, jump forward, wai for your opponents attack parry 4 riposte, preferably to the mask... -

Array Stab to the mask with the point- In sabre.
Its one of the most annoying moves because
A) Its hard to see the blade.
B) They dont expect the point
C) You have a chance to knock their mask off- this makes them go "huh? what happened?" -

Array Nooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Array the epee shot to the big toe... little is more humiliating than that. "The greatest thing you'll ever learn
Is to parry, and riposte in return."
