Perhaps pointing out an accidental or inadvertant rules violation at the end of the match to the referee would be in order. The violation I witnessed was not accidental, it was purposeful cheating. Unsportmanlike conduct for sure. Maybe manifest fraud. My quandry was not what it was, but do I make the call as B.C. over the referee. I did not know, so I went with the most conservative approach. I still do not know what to do for sure if this were to happen again. Does the B.C. step-in if such behavior is observed?
