One thing that's been suggested for the 2002 ME DVD as well as future DVD's is a commentary track.
SO, does anyone here feel qualified to attempt to do commentary on the existing or future DVDs?
One other thing being discussed is going out to get some pro commentary done, but that will impact the price of the DVD since we'll need to pay the "consultant" (think high level world class fencer). Especially for those that have received the current DVD, what extra value would you place in an optional commentary track?
If people would like to record a commentary track to the 2002 DVD Men's Epee. I need an audiotape (90 min) or preferably a CD-ROM with the commentary already digitized. I can make a small run of special edition, but most importantly, we will be selecting one of few individuals for future DVD commentary tracks. PM me if interested.
Sounds like a hoot! I'd love to but not sue I have the time - plus kit. I'm going to stick this onto the UK board and see if anyone picks up the baton from there. BTW I will be reviewing the footage of the the next week as it looks like we have a suitable venue (ie pub) with a projection screen. Maybe I'll bring a microphone and we can get some ' commentary' from people after drink has loosened their tongues!
I've purchased the DVD and have it now, but I haven't had time to watch it yet! Yes, I feel bad about that....however, after I've had time to sit down and watch it, I'll try to post comments here.
