UK fencers: Deal on shoes

I saw this whilst poking about on the net.

at www.fencinguk.net that Bourne sports www.bournesports.co.uk have Adidas fencing shoes cheap. As low as £15 a pair + £3 shipping. I don't know what styles or sizes yet. These are going to be advertised in The Sword soon so I imagine they'll go fast. Just thought hey if you got new students in your club this might be good.

Any clue where on the Bourne site these are listed? I didn't see anything for fencing shoes....

I didn't see them listed either. Fencinguk.net stated that they are mail order number 01782 410411. I am giving Bourne Sports a ring tomorrow (it was after 5 pm when I found this). Check here for more info as I get it.

Chilli let us know. I missed out on a 1/2 price offer Adidas did on their website during the Olympics cos they wouldn't post to me.

Grrrrr... Rang Bourne Sports and Duellist has bought the WHOLE lot. So I guess we will see a "sale" happen soon at Duellist (Duellist wanted to prevent them being advertised in The Sword). Had a nice chat with the bloke at Bourne Sport and let him kindly know that if us fencers could find out about bargains like this, we would buy stuff. "So put it on your website, buddy"

Bottom line, we missed out but keep an eye out on Bourne Sports for future bargains.
