Just returned from a fun tournament.

I thought I would pass this on.

I went to the Palmetto State Open this weekend in Columbia SC. It was a Foil and Epee tournament as well as a Referee Seminar.

The tournament was held in a really old YMCA, very cool place. The tournament and the referee Seminar were both run well and on time.

Fun time. I will defiantly make the trip next year!

Good Job Michael!..

Cheers

You finally come to a tournament in my neck of the woods and I am in afghanistan. sigh......
I also heard it was a very good event. Of course the student who sent me that report won the D&under so he might be biased.

Swordsen, he was not biased. It was a great tournament and the YMCA was a great venue with very helpful staff.

Millamber is on a distinguished road
I was also at this tournament. Very well run, and suprisingly strong competitors. I went expecting a C open, but it finished an A2.

I wanted to fence the D and Under, but managed to make it into the second round of pools in the open and couldn't do both because of time. But I learned alot being able to fence with stronger fencers and will try to make the next one.

I forget the gentlemen's name who won the open, but congrats to him on his shiny new DVD player!
