| Ideas to make a certain Uni fencing club bearable. Yes. I'm really sick of the only fencing club in Southern Tassie and I'm asking you to please give me some ideas to improve it because the president doesn't appear to give a damn!
We have a mini Epee comp on Tuesday and Thursday every second week, but I'm sick of fencing the same people, most of whome are beginners and my coach hasn't turend up since July!Cheers, Avril. |

| I suggest you get in touch with the coach and tell him to get his butt in gear and turn up. Once he starts turning up, it SHOULD get slightly better, because then you'll have some instruction. As for the president, have a nice chat with him, too |

| - I'll take that as a declaration of war downunder
-The Swords Club destroys the lives of people at an early age so they get used to it, at Macquarie they destroy your life when you're older so it more painful and it takes a lot longer to adapt to
hmph... take that |

Does anyone know what the club at LaTrobe (Bundoora campus) is like? I'm considering doing my master's there, but if there's no good fencing nearby, I won't go. How's that for dedication? |

| Hostile takeover is my prefered method of improving leadership. I mean after all whats a little violence between people who play with swords. |

Hopefully, your coach will turn up soon.
Take the mini Epee comps as a challenge to work on different parts of your game. It really doesn't matter whether you win or lose since these comps don't really hold any significance other than competition practice. Try to win every bout with toe hits only. It's absurd but who cares. |

| Hey Avril,
I've lost touch with a fencing buddy of mine from Taz who goes by the name of Jason McQueen. If you know him or see him tell him to contact the guys in Scotland! |

| Thanks. Their book says they have fencing, but I wanted to get more details. I will go back to considering Canadian and European schools. |

| Pammie, just cause the uni dont have fencing dont discredit the course! La Trobe has a few campuses, you may find fenicng on one of the others, or at another club!

| True enough Zelda. Perhaps my question should have been: Any good epee clubs in the Melbourne area? |
