    Halloween Costume

Due to influence from an arbitrary evil website, I now wish to dress up as Carmen Sandiego for Halloween. Does anyone know where I could get a red trechcoat and big hat™?

Black hair is easy. Red lipstick might be a bit hard for me.... Should I wear hubcaps too?

May sound strange and all that, but whenever we need costumes for drama shows, halloween you name it we'll go to Savers, our local thrift store. They tend to have what we're looking for, and if they dont (take the coat for example) they could have one like it and then you can just die it red without having to over spend. If the hat's not there . . . . eeerm you could try making one other then that, no idea as of the moment. Great costume idea! I need to think up something good for this year. Any suggestions would be nice
Good luck with getting all your props cowpaste!

Thrift stores are awesome for halloween costumes. I was once a fencer for halloween, I think that was cheating.

I nearly got beaten for showing up to the Halloween pub crawl when I was in Wales... (with the fencing club) as a fencer. But really... I couldn't help it.

I would love to dress up as a budgie...

Then I could have my pet budgie sitting on my shoulder as well

    That would be soooo cute

Why is it nobody can spell anything, even relatively common names/words? I see (sp?) after just about every other word on here! How hard is it to just figure it out someplace, maybe look it up?

Take a breather Soldier. I've never even heard of Gorbatroviwhatever. So tis' nto simple to me. I know I may be a fast typer, but I'm not the most accurate of one so I tend to make a few typos here and there. It's not a life of death matter . . . yet

Its called I had about 20 seconds to type up the post before I had to leave. I knew if I did not type it then, I may not be able to until tomorrow.

Here, does this make you happy....

    Soldier, Soldier...

Don't make me red pen your hiney! Your own posts could use some improvement, my dear, so do not throw stones.

    :0)

    Onto the topic at hand...

A friend of mine is a costume *****, & has passed some of his vast knowledge to me. I'll see what I can spot. In the meantime, try typing "Halloween costume" in your search engine box.

Thankies Moon! rofl one of my professors at the college has a red pen, and I guess everyone who goes into her class fears it. She's like 'It's not mean, it's Friendly Critisism!' Makes me giggle.

    Teehee

I've decided to go as Cowpaste. I will sew a horsey on my fencing jacket, pull a muscle at every tournament I go to and complain about my equipment every chance I git.

Pfft, I don't complain about equipment anymore. I got my own and stuff. That club stuff sucks! Anyway, I'm thinking of adding a teddy bear to my jacket. Make sure you get that too.

Back to the original idea, instead of complaining and insulting each other, it depends on how much you're willing to spend. A trench coat shouldn't be too hard to find, as people have said, thrift stores will sometimes have them. A fedora, however, may be harder. If you've got the money, you can buy a quality one at www.hatsinthebelfry.com. They tend to be expensive, but they're of high quality. Or you can look for a costume one that only looks like a fedora.
Personally I like the fedora look.

What ever you do, don't decide to go as a scuba diver. Wore my wet suit to a Halloween party once and lost a lot of water weight that night!

Failing that, you could put an empty cage on your shoulder and go as the budgie deficit...

Fedora? Wasn't that Samantha's mother on "Bewitched"?

I believe the idea is to replace it with alcohol.
