Hello ra2000a

I have the same problem, along with a coach who has no enthusiasm for "home study" methods. I asked the same question and got some great answers. Check out the thread entitled "Solo Drills" - last post was on 10-1-03. This is truly a great site!

I've tried all the drills suggested by everyone, and Peach if you are out there... 15 minutes!!! of strips? Ohmygod. I tried for 5 minutes and barely made it. I obviously need some work.

Thanks, Peach.

By the way, I did try out the video taping thing. Now, don't get me wrong. I have a really crappy camera, but it does have a tripod. It really does help. I found out I had a lot of bad habits that just didn't come across from the "inside". I was standing too straight legged; getting my feet too close together on advances; leaning forward in lunges then straightening back up, yada, yada. By using the video, I have corrected a bunch of these, at least during practice.
