Array Prices at a NAC I've heard that the vendors that show up at NAC's usually sell gear at really good prices. I was about to order from Germany and decided that I would wait and see if the prices at the NAC in KS are any good.
For those who have experience in this, when you're buying mostly Uhlmann gear and BF blades, are the prices at the NAC good enough to warrant waiting to buy there, or is it still much cheaper to send off to Europe and have it shipped over?
Anyone know what vendors are coming? -

Array Prices at NAC are discounted but only to 20% or so; kind of the lowest denominator, so more expensive vendors on the web discount more. For those German manufacturers, you still probably will save ordering from Germany. -

Array I got an Uhlmann 1600 n. mask for about the price listed in the Uhlmann price guide. When you add in savings for shippings, I'd say it was worth it. If you plan on attending NAC's, I can't think of a reason to not wait until after it to make the overseas order. Plus, I noticed a lot of people bartering for better deals.

Array Three other reasons to wait.
1) Blades are all hand-made. Even from the top forges, there are good and there are bad. At the NAC's you can see what you are getting and pick the best one there.
2) Fit. If you buy the wrong size, the return is a lot of bother.
3) If you don't like the prices you find at the NAC. Uhlmann will still be there. You can buy later. Donald Hollis Clinton, Jr. DHCJr@juno.com
