| Quick Update
Yes, I am still alive!
This is the last weekend of the Ren Fest, & it's going to be rather bittersweet. I've had a blast (but I'm also SO tired!). I've become a "character" in my own right (the personal slave to the Pirate King...yeah, baby!), & I've received a lot of pampering as a result. The cast actually has a band of groupies that do our bidding. I've also had my share of weirdos after me. Can we say "freak magnet"??? And I swear I found the person who could play Meekal the Daft in the movie version of this little story. I kid you not!
There will be pics of yours truly up on a professional photog's website soon, & I'll definitely let everyone know when that happens.

| another update
Well, it's officially over. Cried at times, partied for the most part. Our beloved groupies made each & every one of us t-shirts that say "got groupies?" on the front. On the back, each cast member got "So-&-So's got groupies" w/the groupies' names & personalized messages. It was great!
Well, except when I almost REALLY got flogged...then sold to some chick. I almost killed the guy who played the Pirate King for that!
After some recuperation (I'm sore, tired & kinda braindead at the moment), I'll be back on to continue the saga. Lord Tellurine has gone on tour with his show, so I don't know when he'll be back.

| Great to have you back! You're just in time for all of the fun stuff!
Man, I would have liked to see that show--and I must say that I'm glad you didn't get actually flogged. That could hurt a bit!

| The Novel
Well, the main job of editing is over. All I have to do is put the changes into the computer & send it along to my dear friend, Lord Tellurine...the co-author. By the end of the year, I want to begin the process of hunting for an agent &/or publisher. I WILL see this book published.
My next venture is to finish the tale of Lady Moon. I don't know where it will go, but I do have some ideas that I've shared with a select few. Offline, I'm working on the rewrite & re-release of my precious first novel "Secrets of the Maiden." Alexandra has been silent far too long. She's begging to be heard from again!
Darion, it's your call in the Sibling Rivalry thread. I'm open, for now!

| I DID IT!
It's official...I'm a steel wielding babe now. Tonight I passed my weapon test & I'm now in the beginning rapier class. Guess what's going on MY Christmas list??? YAY!
I also got to lead a footwork drill, since I was the most experienced of the whole bunch. I didn't have to pay the $5 floor fee (as an instructor), which was awesome. Fencing for almost 10 years really DOES pay off!
