| At the beginning or at the end? this week I had my lesson with my coach at the beginning of the session and after it I went to the drills. I found that order more fun and i think i work better on the lesson.
what is the order you guys use?

| I prefer to have my lesson before i do any fencing whatsoever because I tend to get a bit jumpy after fencing hehehhe |

| I've always done drills before lessons or bouting, but only because I was taught that way. I don't know about running it the other way around.
The one thing for drills is that I feel I am warmed up, stetched out, and ready to fence. Feel like its all been unkinked. But it could work the other way... |

| I prefer to get my lesson somewhere in the middle of free bouting, probably slightly on the earlier side. If I haven't been able to fence a couple bouts I'm not really in good form yet. If I'm almost done with bouting, chances are my body will give out at some point during the lesson. |

| as long as you use what you learn, it shouldn't matter...
if you bout early, concentrate on what you learned last time, if you bout late, concentrate on what you learned that day.
that is, assuming you have a memory long enough to remember what it is you did during your last lesson or set of drills.... : ) |

| As for me, I first do the drills, then I hook up for a few bouts, then I get a lesson, and after it I continue fencing... But I do the drills as warm-up exercises...
