Array Cool. Thanks.
Think we can get Steve to email you or me a report? Will any of the US fencers have 'net access in Cuba? -

Array I happened to notice that the FIE updated their website. I think it looks really nice. Also, it now has an English translation. http://www.fie.ch/
Something more like this is what I would like to see from the USFA's site (as far as look and feel go). I didn't explore the functionality of it too much. But it looks nice and clean. It has a real corporate feel.

Array The FIE has updated the look of the site, but not necessarily all the information on the site. Yes it is in English, which does help.
One thing I noticed, that was not on the old site was the requirements for hosting a World Championship. I was curious what was required. The English version was from 1996 and it says it is a translation of the French Version, which will be updated every year. So I went to the French Version and it was also the 1996 version.
I also found some requirements, which I hope has changed. Under 2.6.2 Partners and Sponsors. The Organizers are required to place at the center of the finals piste a 1.5 x 0.7m billboard of the France Lame Company.
OOPS! I should have looked at more before I wrote this. The FIE has each section of the rule book separate. On the old web site, they had the April 2002 edition for the Material rules. This web site has September of 2000. I'm glad I downloaded a set from the old site.
