Classical fencing central

Hi all,

I'm new here and wanting to start classical fencing. I've practically never fenced, but been interested in taking up the sword since 15 or so. Now, i've decided I should go and do it but the issue is sports fencing doesn't interest me. I've always been interested in swordplay as an art and not as a method of scoring points.

My problem is I'm in South Africa, and classical fencing seems rather small worldwide - and pretty much non existant in this country. I haven't had much luck on the net either... is there like a big classical fencing website similar to this website, or a directory or something or any way you think i can maybe track down some form of classical fencing in Johannesburg South Africa?

Are there any South Africans on this board?
