Cuban fencing

I'm going to cuba in three weeks.

I would like to fence with the cubans and to get some lessons from a cuban master.

can anyone help me out contacting someone there?

I think they'll all be busy working and helping out with the World Championships in about three weeks. Might consider going at some other time.

I'm a journalist writing about the championships, so I'm going anyway.

I will be hanging around afterwards for a week or so, which by then I hope to fence with some people if I can.

If you contact BONI, who is one of the members of the spanish webforum http://www.esgrimamex.com/cgi-bin/ultimatebb.cgi
he might be able to give you some pointers. He is a coach, a FIE referee, and a fencer in Yucatan, which is almost as close as FL to the island. I know that he has taken some fencing courses there.
Use the PM system. Good luck. Another guy that I know is going is Emilio Arguello who is a coach at the Boston Fencing Club.

You can talk to Cesar Morales who is coach at the Boston Fencing club. He came here from Cuba about 12 years ago, he might be able to help.
