Visiting Fencing Clubs - let's start reviews in Fencing Forum

Craig and fellow members,
I am going to start my personal review of clubs that I visit with a thread in the fencing discussion. As a med school prof, I travel a fair amount. I enjoy fencing, and in general, fencers are warm people who are really nice and helpful. I would like to invite others to place reviews of clubs they visit but not their own. It wouldn't be fair to ourselves, our coaches and friends. However, you could respond to a review of your own club. My own policy is I fence anybody anytime (or in 15 min to recover) when I am in a fencing salle. I have fenced olympians and 1st day beginners. I have lots of limitations on the strip and although I can see openings, I am unable to get my point there because of lack of athleticism and/or skill. Today, I fenced in a club that I visited in FL giving up a free dinner in 4 star restaurant. I love to fence and it was worthy. I lost some and won some. I work on my technique a little against people who I had never seen before. Paraphrasing a definition of pornography, I can recognize poor, fair, good, excellent, and outstanding fencing when I see it. Last three disclaimers: 1) I am not running for office (or fencing office) and do not intend to do so. 2) I am not an Expert (in this forum, Edew is in foil, Veeco in epee, and Oiuyt in saber; ask them not me), I am just a hoobyst who loves this hobby. 3) I am an Epeeist, and as such, not well informed in the other weapons.
