I'll be there. Whoo-hoo! Fencing in both DIV 2&3 women's epee. I'm very nervous and excited.

    Good luck to you!

I will be there. But you will not see me, for I am a ninja.

I'll be there for women's Div II and III sabre, assuming I can finally shake this cold. It's already cost me two practices.

Hmmm.. Anyone interested in mongolian bbq on saturday night after the events are over? Genghis Khan Mongolian Grill.. http://www.genghiskhan39th.com its about 12 miles or so from the host hotels, or the venue for that matter..
If you guys don't have mongolian BBQ where you're at, its pretty cool, really its stir fry, but with TONS of food options.. Dunno how many of you are going to have transport, but for those that do, or those that can take people with them, its a cool experience.

That would be awesome, Chris! I think I might just do that. Anyone else?

Hey Ben, it looks like they've got vegan options. They even have kim chee (one of my favorites!). scarlet drools.

I must decline -- ninjas don't eat BBQ.

I'm down if someone will be kind enough to give me a ride to the place and back to the hotel- I am carless (hmmm, this is not any different from here . . . ah well). They are pretty good, we have 2 of them here in the DC area, and it is possible to eat there (for a vegan, this is a hearty endorsement of a resturant!!).
    Looking forward.
    Ben
Ps. Bugaboo, its not really BBQ in the traditional sense- more like asian food.
PPs. what do ninja's eat; and don't they generally fence with nagami or something like that??

I'll do what I can as far as transport goes, I may already have one passenger from FIT in Dallas, I can probably manage 2 more (I have an Eclipse, so its a bit tight seating even for me and 3 passengers).

Bugaboo, Mongolian BBQ is basically stir fry. the place we'll be going to has raw foods on the buffet, beef, pork, chicken, fish, scallops, crab and lobster meat, and probably a few other things i'm forgetting, plus a HUGE assortment of veggies..
You take what you want, and put it in a bowl, then you stop at the sauce bar, where you have 8 to 10 different sauce components, make your own sauce from them (soy, oil, mirin, pepper sauce, minced garlic, teriyaki, etc) and you take it up to the grill and they cook it like stir fry, except the grill is about 8 feet in diameter and flat, instead of a wok.
their chinese food is also good..

Ninjas don't reveal our secrets. We can't even tell you what we eat.

Jeeeze... you're not a ninja, you're just a wet blanket.

Ok, I've lined up a couple of native KC types that are interested as well... hopefully we can get a decent sized group together, party poopers like above notwithstanding
