CT fencer newbie question

Hi all
I used to fence for 2 years long time ago (well around 10 years ago). Now I wish to start fencing again even from a scratch. I live in Norwalk, CT, I found a club near me "Candlewood Fencing Center " 272 White St Danbury, CT 06810-6931. Is anyone here from this club? I would like to get more information about it.
I used to be a saber fencer so I would like to continue with this weapon anyone fence saber here?
Where can I buy the equipment?
I'm not totally newbie - used to won sever junior competitions.

Used to fence in other country when US so I not really familiar with all requirements here so sorry for strange questions.

Well, thanks for you answers.

I'm 27 old male

Hi asgaroth,
Candlewood is the base for nearly all of the fencing activity in the Connecticut division. UMass sponsors a tournament each year, and I believe that a club in the Hartford area will be doing a couple this season, but basically everything is at CFC. Decent sized club with some good fencers. If they have any sabre fencers they tend not to compete at all, but I know they have people there that can coach sabre. A couple of the larger tournaments (Turkey Stab in November, Harvey Kerner in June) draw good sabre fields by attracting out of town talent. TS was A-rated last year, HK nearly was but we lost a B in the round of 16.
Tom Ciccarone who owns/runs CFC is also the chair of the division. Go to the club and he'll be able to tell you about membership and competing.
As far as equipment goes, that's a completely separate thread. I'd suggest looking at the review portion of this site to get an idea about the relative quality of the various vendors.
