This is a text newsgroup. Please do not post photos. Not everyone has a
high-speed internet connection.

Sam, loved the photos...wished I was close enough to attend!
Looks like a great deal of fun!! Come join us here in Vegas for the Duel In
The Desert!
Peace,

A world without images is blind.

No, it wasn't nasty!
It was just direct: short - not sweet.
You are just inferring nastiness.

And I agree! *
If Sam wants to throw in a link, GREAT!
I like his pic' of the week page, even if it IS a bit of false advertizing
(doesn't get new pic' every week)

But people don't expect pix in the newsgroup, and many people can't even 'take'
them; many of us, A. are NOT on high speed cnxn; B. pay for the time, and C,
may not want to wait, even if we DO have unlimited service.

*And no shotgunning e-mails with 4MB bitmap images of tournament flyers!

Have fun

Exactly. Usenet is a text-based media; photos are best put on the web,
which is specifically made to support images. In fact, my newsreader
doesn't even display messages that have images - so I didn't see the
original post.

So, please don't post photos. Put a link instead, and I'll certainly
consider checking it out. In fact, since I visit the Salle Aramis
photo site fairly often and enjoy it, I'd be sure to follow the link,
whereas putting the photo in the post will either a) go unseen or b)
be annoying.

Cheers,
Holly

Speaking of the web-site, when's it going to be updated?

Re: The Amazing Duel at the Dock is Coming

Thou hast offended my honor John of Hasler. I challenge you to a duel -
drawn sport Epees. 5 touches on the concret field, Oct 4, 2003 at 9:00am in
Columbus Ohio next to the replica of the Santa Maria. If you do not accept
all will know you to be a coward.
