The March Cadet and Junior Classical Foil tournament
Sunday March 30th at 10 Am.
Tri Cities Academy of the Sword
Winding River Karate School
333 Front Street, Binghamton NY
This event is intended for fencers 16 yrs old or younger.
The tournament will be held in the classical tradition so only French or
Italian Grips are allowed. French grips may have martingales and Italian
grips may be used with wrist straps. NO pistol or orthopedic grips will be
allowed. Form is an important component of classical fencing so unorthodox
fencing will be penalized. Email Maestro Sullins (jsullins@stny.rr.com) if
you would like a copy of the rules to be used.
Schedule of events:
Check in and equipment inspection from 10am to 11am
1st round 11-12am
Lunch 12-12:30pm
Elimination round 12:45-1:45pm
Final round 2:00-3:00Pm
Cost:
$15 for the entire event
$10 for TCAS Students
Some equipment available for rental (free for TCAS Students $5 for others)
Prizes for winners!
